Learn to Sew

Are you interested in learning to sew? At S-Rock Custom, we offer personalized sewing lessons for all ages, designed to keep learners engaged and excited about their projects.

With experiance in teaching and a passion for sewing passed down from my mom, who taught me when I was just 3, I understand how important it is for everyone to enjoy what they're creating. Group sewing classes can sometimes be limiting, with projects that may not interest every individual. That's why I focus on tailoring the experience to each student's preferences and skill level.

In my lessons, you'll learn to:

1. Pick a skill-level-appropriate pattern that excites you, ensuring you stay motivated to complete your project.

2. Choose the right fabrics for your selected pattern.

3. Use your sewing machine confidently and troubleshoot any issues you may encounter.

4. Follow the entire process from cutting to sewing to fitting your project.

Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, I can guide you through creating clothing, costumes, and even repurposing special event gowns. My goal is to foster a love for sewing that will last a lifetime.

Each person and their projects are unique. Some projects may only require one session, while others could span multiple sessions. I will work with you to determine the best approach for your goals and schedule.

Kids (under 13) - $20/hour session

Teens - $30/hour session

Adults (18+) - $40/hour session
